Heat resistant filling blocks are suitable for sealing steel deck openings (above smoke screens).
They are made of rock wool. This material reaches A0, non-combustible, i.e. the best class according to the Belgian fire regulations and Euro class A1, also the best class, according to the new European classification EN13501.

These tailormade rectangular filling blocks, made from Rockwool, are used to seal gaps between existing beams and the roof, above the smoke curtains in order to make the area smoke-free. These blocks have thermal, acoustic and fire protecting characteristics. They are bare and thus without PE foil.
Heat resistant trapezoidal filling blocks for standard steel deck type 106, type 135, type 153, type 158 and for special steel decks.
These filling blocks can be encased with a black or white PE foil, in order to create a dust-free installation.
